Environmental Safety Policy
YMCO-Environment-Policy

YMCO was organized to provide effective reliable, clean, courteous and safety program for our customers. The safety portion of our task is of paramount importance. All YMCO personnel and appropriate contractors are charged with the responsibility of ensuring the safety of our projects, sites, employees and anyone who come in contact with the work.

The System Safety Department is directed and empowered to administer a comprehensive and coordinated safety program with a specific safety plan, and the activities to prevent, control and resolve unsafe conditions which may occur during both design and operational stages. This authority includes the right to stop any operation which the safety director or his officer determines is not safe. It is the duty of each employee to cooperate with our safety system and provide it with any requested information to help in any investigations or inspection it may undertake.

The management of YMCO construction is vitally interested in the health & safety of every employee. Our philosophy is that the well-being of our company depends on the health & safety of our workforce. To enable us to keep our quality and production at the highest levels, we must ensure that the health & safety of our workforce is maintained at all times and places. To achieve this goal, we shall endeavor to develop, implement, and evaluate our health and safety program to be as effective as possible.

At all times employees must adhere to the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the regulations made under the Act. We will ensure the safest and healthiest workplace possible by requiring that all employees receive ongoing training in health & safety, by maintaining communications between management and staff, and by leading through actions rather than words.

The responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy workplace is everyone’s responsibility, from the general manager to the newly hired employee. Daily assistance and support are needed and expected to protect the health & safety of our workforce, our clients and our company.
